Tooth Day in the Infant Room.

Published by under General

Today was tooth day for Junior and Senior Infants. The infants learned all about cleaning their teeth and how to mind their teeth. As part of tooth day they carried out an experiment to test for acid in drinks. They tested Capri Sun, orange juice, apple juice, milk, coke and water. When the water changed from purple to red it meant that there was acid present in the drink. Milk and water were the only drinks that had no acid present.

Drinks to be tested

           Here are our results…..

      The Results

Everyone received a certificate for Tooth Day and a tube of toothpaste.

Happy smiles all round!!!

Late win for Analeentha

Published by under Sport

Analeentha took to the football field in Carrigoon recently to face tough opposition from a strong Glanworth team. Glanworth took an early lead and we spent most of the game behind. It must be said that our team never gave up and finally took the lead in the dying seconds of the match to be crowned the first ever winners of the Roinn B3 Scith na Scoil Football winners. Well done to all the team. You did your school proud.
